The Significance of Cryogenic Treatment for Metal Materials
Xinfengli's liquid nitrogen cryogenic chamber is a device designed for cryogenic treatment of metal materials. During the heat treatment process, a portion of the parent phase in metal materials remains as residual austenite. Only by further lowering the temperature to increase the driving force for phase transformation can additional martensite be obtained, thereby reducing the residual austenite content. Cryogenic treatment is carried out using refrigeration equipment, where the metal material is placed inside an insulated container (freezing tank) lined with thermal insulation materials. The temperature of the metal within the tank can be lowered to below -190°C through refrigeration methods. The treatment effect can be evaluated via metallurgical examination, with the residual austenite content typically required to be below 8% to 10%, or even below 5% for more stringent applications. However, it's important to note that an excessively low residual austenite content is not always beneficial, as an appropriate amount can contribute to improved toughness and impact resistance. Cryogenic treatment has been proven to significantly enhance the wear resistance and service life of metal materials.
Product Structure Introduction:
Xinfengli's specialized liquid nitrogen cryogenic treatment equipment for metal heat treatment employs a programmable control system combining a human-machine interface (HMI), PLC, and modular components. This system enables real-time monitoring of temperature changes inside the chamber and offers both manual and automatic operation modes. Utilizing liquid nitrogen as the cooling medium, the equipment features a stainless-steel cabinet that is both aesthetically pleasing and durable, along with high-density polyurethane foam insulation for effective thermal isolation. The system boasts a well-designed structure, standardized manufacturing processes, compact component layout, user-friendly operation, and powerful functionality, all presented through an intuitive interface. It can achieve temperatures as low as -196°C and offers rapid cooling capabilities. The ultra-low temperature cryogenic test chamber incorporates the latest liquid nitrogen dispersion refrigeration and temperature control technologies, ensuring uniform and stable temperature performance during both constant and cooling phases.
